Fannie lived to 99 years old, passing in 1971, and became known to her 11 grandchildren (and whole family really) as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hamdun.org\/?p=4902\">Nanna Hammie<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our family has strong connections to Maine, with the Hamiltons having descended from Nova Scotia into Brooklin, Maine and the Dunhams ascending from Plymouth to Paris, Maine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>250 Years on Hamilton Shores<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have gathered on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hamdun.org\/?page_id=4810\">Hamilton Shores<\/a> in Blue Hill Neck, Maine since our family first arrived there in 1770 or 1771, when James Carter arrived as one of the first settlers of the region.
